Sample Letter to Collegiate Soccer Coach

Dear Coach Jones,

My name is Alex Rogers, I am writing to you in regards to college soccer. I am currently a senior at Clearbrook High School located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I also play for the U18 USTA team (United Soccer Training Academy). I am very interested in playing soccer at the collegiate level and for Jones University.

II have taken the time to review Jones University online and feel it could be a good fit for me. I would be interested in meeting with you and your coaching staff as well as taking a tour of the campus to discuss the possibilities of attending and playing for your institute. Please let me know what dates and times are good for you so I can make arrangements.

IIf you would like to come evaluate my play below are my high school and club team’s schedules. I will be wearing number 3 for both teams. My high school colors are blue and white. My club team colors are black and white with a USTA logo on the chest. If any other information is needed please feel free to contact me at any time.
