USTA Strikers grab semi-final victory

Congratulations to the USTA Strikers U10 girls team on a very solid performance at the 29th Annual Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer Tournament. The Strikers captured the semi-final spot with a 2-0 win over a tough FC Lehigh squad. Overall, the U10 girls finished with an impressive 3-1 tournament record with additional victories against Parkland Pride and Vincent United. During their lone defeat, the resilient Strikers never quit during their 4-0 loss against a highly efficient Saucon Valley squad. This was another good test to see how the girls would fare against top-level clubs from the Lehigh Valley area. Five different USTA players scored a total of 14 goals. Their attacking style of play was a lot of fun to watch!

Since March of 2008, the USTA Strikers have competed in five different tournaments and thus far they have posted an exceptional 12-5 record.
