Coach Robinson

Coach Robinson is a Biology major at Wilkes University and a member of the women's soccer team. Gina is working with our younger players focusing on developing their individual technique as well as introducing basic team concepts. Coach Robinson currently trains and coaches the USTA under 10 girls. Prior to joining USTA Gina was involved with the Middleburg Soccer Club as well as the Middleburg AYSO, reffing and helping the youth teams. With over 16 years of playing experience she hopes to share her knowledge of the game as well as instill a positive image of female athletes in the young girls.

As a player in the midfield/forward position on the women's soccer team at Wilkes Gina contributed 6 goals and 8 assists to a team that has made the MAC playoffs the past 3 years and won the MAC championship and an NCAA bid in 2005. Robinson has also been named to the MAC academic honor roll every year.

In high school Gina played at Middleburg High School in Middleburg, Pennsylvania. While there her team was consistently in the district IV playoffs and PIAA tournament, making it to the Final Four in 2002 and Elite 8 in the state in 2004. A leader in goals and assists, she was also named co-MVP of the team her senior year.

Georgina played club soccer for the Middleburg Sockers and also played a year with the CPYSL select team out of Harrisburg in 2000. She also represented the Nittany Region in the Keystone State Games in 1999 and 2000.
